Frequently Asked Questions (Accordion)
Can I take my finished jewellery home on the day?
No. In this workshop, you will carve the wax model of your design. We then send your wax to a specialist foundry to be cast into solid metal using the lost-wax process, after which we hand-polish and clean up the metal piece in our workshop. Your finished item will be ready in 2–3 weeks.
What can I make?
Most students carve a custom ring (such as a signet ring, textured band, or organic molten ring) or a small pendant. We recommend focusing on form and texture for your first class.
Can I cast in Gold instead of Silver?
Yes! The standard ticket includes up to 10g of solid sterling silver. If you wish to cast your piece in 9ct/18ct gold, or have your silver ring gold-plated, we can weigh your wax model at the end of class and quote the additional cost.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Full refunds or free rescheduling are available up to 7 days prior to your class date. Within 7 days, we offer a 50% studio credit or class reassignment if we can fill your spot.
